| Projects & overhauls | 1936 by John Taylor & Co (ring created) A new clock chime was cast from the old bells. The largest bell has little actual use, merely a single stroke 'warning' three minuntes before the quarter is chimed, the melody being: 1st Q: A-F-C-D; 2nd Q: C-D-F-C, C-D-F-A; 3rd Q: A-F-C-D, C-D-F-A, A-D-F-C; Hour: C-D-F-C, C-D-F-A, A-D-F-C, A-D-C-F. The hours are not struck. |
