Entry in ledger book 20th Dec 1923- To recasting the tenor and second bells 13¼ cwt @ £3 per cwt £39.15.0. Difference in weight of old and new bells, 40 lbs @ £7 per cwt £2.10.0. Loss in melting at 3lbs per cwt. 13¼ cwt = 40lb @ £7.0.0 per cwt £2.10.0. To rehanging the three bells, supplying chiming apparatus including all expenses £22.0.0. Inscriptions reproduced on the two bells 58 letters @ 4d each 19.4. Journey to examine and take note of bell £1.5.0. To cutting two inscription rings from the old bells £2.0.0. To 60 lbs of metal in same @ 1/- lb £3.0.0. Total £84.19.4 Invoiced to Rev. E.G. Clowes, paid by cheque 15 Jan 1924.
