[2]History of the bells
The back 6 bells came from Pelton, Co Durham, removed in 1991. They were transferred to St Luke, St Helier, Jersey, in 1993, with two new trebles to complete the octave. The front 5 bells simply have the foundry mark and “1911” on their waists. The tenor bell is inscribed IN MEMORY OF THE WHELDON FAMILY / 1911 / C.F.B. HASLEWOOD VICAR / J.T. HESLOP } / W.CRAINE } CHURCHWARDENS
This inscription was removed when the chime was transferred and replaced with another in specially cast letters applied with epoxy resin."
