[2]Outstanding questions about the contents of the belfry
There is some confusion over what is up the tower here. Sharpe records 1/3 as Joseph Carter 1592, 2/3 as Reading Foundry & 3/3 as Joseph Carter 1606 but did not visit relying on Tyssen notes, so the founders of the present 2nd & tenor may not be as presented. Whitechapel Records state that the 2nd of 3 was recast as the treble of 3 in 1971, weight 1-3-23, diameter 22". A site visit will be needed to resolve what is there.
