[1]History of the church

This church was consecrated on 28 Oct 1968, built to replace the former church that was destroyed on the first day of the London Blitz, 7 Sept 1940. The old church with its chime of five 1906 Taylor bells (also destroyed) was on a slightly different site, found here: https://dove.cccbr.org.uk/tower/25622
