Notes

[1]Note on the weight and diameter

There are mixed details about the weight and diameter of the bell from Paul Cattermole’s Church Bells of Norwich. He firsts says that the diameter is 21½ inches, but in the back of the book, he says the bell weighs 2¼ cwt and has a diameter of 21 inches. It is inferred that no one has been close enough to the bell to measure it and that its diameter has been estimated by comparison with similar bells. As a result, the team has entered the more approximate diameter.
