According to Paul Cattermole, there were formerly two bells in the tower. The two bells were cast as follows: Treble - 1712 - Thomas Newman Tenor - 1631 - William Brend The present bell in the tower was formerly the treble of the two bells. It is currently unknown what the fate of the tenor bell is
