[2]Note about the nominals recorded 18 May 2022
The identification of which bell is which is provisional. Without ladders it is not possible to know which rope is attached to which bell. The assignment is based on the arrangement of the partials. One bell has very flat hum, prime and tierce, typical of a long-waisted bell (e.g. similar to the sanctus at Leighton Buzzard). The other has hum, prime and tierce typical of an Eldridge bell.
The bells are so small that their pitches come from the hums, not the nominals. The 1050 bell has hum 496.5Hz, note B +9 cents, the Eldridge bell has hum 475Hz, note Bb +33 cents. It would not be correct to give these bells notes based on the nominals.
