[2]Bell replaced?
Elphick Mentions that the bell is a Mears and Stainbank bell. However, there is a shield on the front which identifies the bell to be made by James Barwell. This is the only thing inscribed on the bell. So probably the M & S bell was replaced by the Barwell bell. {Note from K L Leaver, Mar 2022]
