It was broken up and sold. 1942 Converted from full-circle ring and decreased in number from 10 bells The church was destroyed by enemy action and half the tower fell leaving some of the bells suspended in mid-air, while some were brought down by intact. The bells remaining in the air were broken in the course of being brought down by the Royal Engineers. 9 of the bells were sent to Taylors of which only the 9th could be saved. 1891 by Mears & Stainbank Augmented from 8 bells 1773 by Pack & Chapman (ring created) New ring of 8 created. |
