Notes
[1]Details of the bells
The Gillett & Johnston records note the new chime of 5 cast and supplied in 1890. This was/is a clock chime. Stahlschmidt’s Surrey Bells and London Bell-Founders
notes the Taylor bell of 1880. Earlier versions of this record suggested that the Taylor bell was part of the clock chime, but this does not look likely from the records, so for now the assumption is that the Taylor bell is still there as a service bell for the church in addition to the clock chime.
