[2]Founder
The bell was cast at the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, as indicated by the letter and number stamps and the distinctive design of the canons. The founder is not inscribed on the bell, and since it dates from 1769, it could have been cast by either Lester & Pack; Lester, Pack & Chapman; or Pack & Chapman.
