[2]Identity of the bell
L’Estrange noted 3 bells here: 1. Anno Domini 1591 W.B. 2. Anno Domini 1592 W.B. 3. X Ave Maria The church website and guide book also stated that the treble and tenor were stolen in 1969, suggesting that the remaining bell is by William Brend, 1592. However, Paul Cattermole suggested in Church Bells & Bellringing, a Norfolk Profile, pg 139, that the Ave Maria bell is still there. Confirmation of the identity of the bell is therefore awaited.
