New light ring of eight hung in a new frame for 10 bells, plus nine additional bells as a clock chime with the largest hung for full circle ringing. It is hoped that Whaley Hall will become a ringing centre with accommodation for 40 people

The clock was made in 1734 by John Shepley; it was previously in the original tower of Stockport, S Mary (before the present tower there was built).

c1-c6 are hung dead from a single beam. c7 and c8 are each hung dead from a horizontal beam. c9 is hung for chiming between two vertical posts.
