Bells | 6 (full-circle ring)Edit details |
Tenor | 10–1–21 (1169 lb or 530 kg) in F♯ (746.8 Hz) |
Overhauled | 2025 by Nicholson Engineering Ltd The "lost" ring of five was re-modelled into a full-circle ring of six by retiring existing bell 5/5 (rehung for stationary chiming) and adding second-hand bells sourced by the Keltek Trust as the two trebles; the bell formerly bell 1/8 at Church Kirk, Lancs has become bell 1/6; the bell formerly bell 3/8 at Lindfield, Sussex has become bell 2/6. The bells have been rehung with all new fittings in a new frame. A new ringing gallery has been installed. Bell 3/5 (Thomas I Bilbie 1729) has been found to be cracked and has been welded |
