| Projects & overhauls | 2004 by Whitechapel Bell Foundry Augmented from 6 bells 1999 by Whitechapel Bell Foundry (major overhaul) 1997 by Whitechapel Bell Foundry Augmented from 5 bells 1900 by John Taylor & Co The cracked 2nd - which remained unhung until October 1900 - was finally recast, by John Taylor & Co. 1899 by Local firm (major overhaul) Converted from full-circle ring Bells 1,3,4,5 of the ring of 5 were rehung for chiming only by local firm, James Ayre & Son of Hockliffe) to a scheme designed by C T Spencer of Harrow, a civil engineer and son of the Vicar. The bells were clocked. The 2nd at this point was cracked - in 3 pieces - so this remained unhung. |
