Ring of eight remodelled using the 7th as tenor. 6th & 8th retired with a new cast treble and 6th. Frame rebuilt and sited lower in the tower. The Taylor 1924/1948 fittings restored or replaced as necessary.

[1]Evolution of the frame

The frame for the original ring of 8 was 1924 by Taylors, made from cast iron, with trusses 8.3.A.h and layout 8.3. The frame sides were reused in a new frame below leaving the grillage behind in 2023. It is from this grillage that the former tenor was hung dead.
