Notes

[1]Clock bell

The clock bell from Farnborough was removed from the tower in 2021 for possible reuse as a treble to augment Thurloxton, Somerset to 6. However this project did not proceed and the bell is currently awaiting an alternative fate. Taylors installed the clock hammer to strike on the 1951 G&J bell instead.

[2]Frame Fr1 layout

Frame Fr1 Layout is Layout 4.5 but with an additional frame parallel to Pits A and B beside Pit A forming 3 parallel pits as per Layout 3.1.

If the 3 parallel pits are viewed as uppermost, there is a pit to the right orthogonal to the upper two, with another pit end to end with this pit orthogonal to the lower one of the parallel pits and parallel to Pits C and D of Layout 4.5.

Prior to 2021, Frame Fr1 Layout was Layout 6.1 but with Pit A turned at right-angles, aligned with the outer edge of Pits B,C,D, therefore leaving a gap between it and Pit F (intended to be used in a future augmentation).
