Overhauled | 2024 by John Taylor & Co In 2023 Taylor's rehung the three bells in this tower. At that time due to concern for the strength of the bell frame only the treble bell was hung for full circle ringing, with the two larger bells being hung for chiming but on ringing headstocks and with full wheels. The remaining fittings have been manufactured and the larger bells hung for full circle ringing 2023 by John Taylor & Co Bells conserved (no tuning permitted); new fittings provided for full-circle ringing (treble only); all three bells rehung (second and tenor for chiming only). In addition, the frame has been strengthened |
