| Projects & overhauls | 2026 by Nicholson Engineering Ltd (major overhaul) The bells were taken out of the tower on June 16, 2025. Three hugely arched headstocks and the other three flat-top headstocks by Taylor and Whitechapel were replaced by Nicholson and new clappers provided to form a more suant ring of bells that go up right way. Corrosion in the frame was corrected and the frame painted. Hastings stays replaced with sliders. |
