Frame modifications:
Frame 1: 1915 by Alfred Bowell
The original lower bell frame for 6 bells (type 6.7) was modified to take all 8 bells by merging pits E and F for 3 bells end-to-end and splitting pit D into 2 bells end-to-end. Frame strengthened by the addition of metal frame ends (including a gallows frame end over the treble). Prior to this, bells 1 and 3 were in an upper level.
Notes

[1]Frame layout

Layout is type 6.7 modified to take 8 bells by merging pits E and F for 3 bells end-to-end and splitting pit D into 2 bells end-to-end.
