| Projects & overhauls | 1996 by Whitechapel Bell Foundry (major overhaul) Augmented from 4 bells Bells rehung and augmented to 5. Bells dedicated 31 Aug 1996. 1931 by Alfred Bowell (major overhaul) The 4 bells were rehung and lowered to the present level on a new Oak frame, where a space was left for a fifth bell. The tenor was supposed to have been re-tuned but Bowell is said to have re-tuned the wrong bell (the present bell 3, formerly bell 2). |
