Frame Fr1.1 comprises a beam forming a single pit end-to-end with Pit F (albeit reduced width) and at right-angles to Pit E. The beam is jointed to Fr1 at one end (Truss Type 1.E) and set into the tower wall at the other (Truss Type 1.A).
