Report by Ranald Clouston dated 17 January 1989, ten tubular bells by Harrington, Latham & Co, Coventry, about 1906. In the key of C, lengths 1. 56 5/16”, 2. 59½”, 3. 63⅝”, 4. 65 5/16”, 5. 69¾”, 6. 73⅝”, 7. 78 13/16”, 8. 81 5/16”, 9. 86¾”, 10. 94½”. Bells 1-9 all 3¾” diameter, no.10 4”. Thicknesses range from ⅝” to 23/32”. Hung in two rows of five. Third and tenor bells have fallen and all in poor condition; The church of SS. Andrew and Patrick is an ancient building of flint, in the Early English style, consisting of chancel, nave, north aisle, south porch and an embattled western tower, surmounted at the angles by full-sized statues on small pedestals, instead of pinnacles, and containing 10 tubular bells, hung in 1908 (Kelly’s Directory 1912 p.130)
