[1]Status of bells

Formerly hung for full circle ringing, these bells have been remodelled into a chime.

Bell 2 is cracked and stands on the floor in the room below the bells. Bells 1, 3, 4 and 5 are hung dead in the frame. Bell 5 has a trigger-action clapper and can be sounded from the ground floor. Bells 1, 3 and 4 are not sounded. [Bill Hibbert, visit 27 Jun 2023]
