Frame modifications:
Frame 1: 1880 by John Warner & Sons
The original 4 bell frame by C&G Mears 1860 comprised two end-to-end frames on opposite sides of the tower. Warner introduced 3 trusses bridging the two in 1880 to provide two more pits occupied by the 2 trebles.
