This was the earlier Fr 1. It is still in the tower but was cut up into bite-sized pieces as part of the 2013 Matthew Higby project.

[2]Frame layouts

Layout 13.X is similar to Layout 12.3 with the following differences: Pits 1 and 2 side-by side and at right-angles to Pit 12; Pits 3,4,5,6 side-by-side and end-to end with Pits 9 and 12; Pits 7 and 8 side-by side and at right-angles to Pit 9; Service bell Pit in the position occupied by Pit 7 in Layout 12.3. Layout 14.X has two additional trusses of Truss Type 8.1.B.a at the end of, at right-angles to Pit 9 and adjacent to Pit 5; this pit is occupied by Bell 6b/12.
