The values shown in the bottom lh corner of this Home page include the number and fraction of towers for which details are complete in every respect.
Thus, to be counted hitherto, this has required the detail of every bell at the tower about which we know, whether part of the ring or not, to be fully complete. So the presence of a sanctus bell whose weight is known only approximately would disqualify that tower from being included in that measure of comprehensiveness.
We now show two measures: one just considering the bells comprising the ring, the other the traditional figure (and invariably a lower percentage).
