Dove now displays how individual bells are hung. This is found in the bells table for each tower where this information is known. The abbreviations are FC (full-circle in the style used for English change ringing), S (swing chiming), D (hung dead unable to swing), U (not hung).

For tubular chimes, we now also show the length of each tube, where known.

Finally, we have set up pages to allow the reader to browse truss types and layout types, although we still recommend that reference is made to Chris Pickford’s book Bellframes, A practical guide to inspection and recording when contributing updates.
