We have eliminated using London as an alternative place name for those entries where we originally felt that the tower was close enough to the city to warrant such a general description (there were 53 of them).
Searching now on just the word London will still produce (currently 179) results where the ring is located within the counties of C London and Gr London.
However, those rings (just 17 of them) which are within the City of London can now also be searched for by looking for the 7-character string =London. (For an elaboration of the use of the = character, look at the paragraph headed Special Searches within the Help page for Searching in general.)
