The task of keeping pace with updates to the content of the Dove database and the pNBR details within it, taken together with necessary developments to the underlying database design, has become over-burdensome.
Consequently, we ask that from now onwards we revert, please, to what was originally envisaged: namely to confine your submissions to supplying us ONLY with changes of which:
1. you are 100% certain (supported by evidence of why that is so) AND;
2. that the datum being offered is EITHER
- 2a. currently missing’ OR
- 2b. when, averring the current value is definitely wrong, the evidence that you adduce for your value being the ’better one AND
3. you have followed our guidance on liaising with the original pNBR contributor (where such is possible).
In future, emails and submissions which do not meet the above criteria (or that the requested evidence in our opinion is not sufficiently convincing) will not be processed but returned with an appropriate acknowledgement. This means that, put another way: we want the results of YOUR research rather than being pointed at what needs be researched!
