The sad news has arrived that Mary Bliss died on 9 May. Mary, a Sharpe Trustee, picked up the work that Frederick Sharpe had started on Gloucestershire bells and her influence on bell work in that part of the UK was significant.
The funeral arrangements are now outlined on the RW website and on The Sharpe Trustees’ webpage and ringers are invited to join in the ringing at Cirencester before and after the service and to refreshments at The Highwayman near Mary’s home between Birdlip and Cirencester on the A417.
