We try hard to be consistent and follow some ground rules with Dove. One such is that we do NOT include an entry until a ring of bells is actually installed within the tower concerned. By the same token when a ring is removed and such absence is not a short-term one (as contrasted with a re-hang, for example), then it follows that the continuance of the relevant entry needs to be considered. With the imminent cut-off necessary for the preparation of Edition10, we have taken - albeit with a heavy heart, and feeling for our friends there - the (not completely unanimous) decision that the entry for Christchurch Cath (NZ) should now disappear although we look forward to its re-appearance in the not-too-distant future. Similar consideration is currently being given to the entry for Radford Semele, and that for Moseley, S Mary, again in the hope that any absence will not be unduly lengthy.
