Notes

Michael de Wymbish's dates

Michael de Wymbish is referred to in two deeds which are transcribed in Stahlschmidts Surrey Bells and London Bell Founders (pp. 4–5) and translated in Cocks Church Bells of Buckinghamshire (pp. 6–8). The 1297 deed tells us that Wymbish was still alive and had a married daughter, suggesting he was no longer a young man. He had died by the time of the 1310 deed.
