Dove's Guide for Church Bell Ringers

Part Y

Please read the Conventions page which indicates just what is included, what is omitted, and what other conventions are used in the following list. Where we have been notified about them, links are provided to web pages devoted to that particular ring although in some cases a further search within that page may be necessary. A date (in UK format) before an entry indicates that there is a material difference between the detail of this entry and that in the latest printed Edition of Dove's Guide. The date shown is that when our database entry for that ring was most recently modified, not the date on which the change was made to the ring concerned. Completely new entries are indicated by "‡".

This list of rings of 4 bells and upwards is arranged in alphabetized sections. A complete single page version of this alphabetical listing is also available. You may well find the search facility faster to use and it provides more details about the bells of the ring. A reverse chronological list of changed entries is provided, and a supplement shows rings of 3 bells. A 'county list' version, updated once every 3 months, is also available.
