Projects & overhauls
2024 by John Taylor & Co (major overhaul)
The entire installation is to be removed from the tower for a major restoration and augmentation project. The bells will be cleaned, conserved and tuned and two new trebles will be cast to augment the ring to ten. A new cast iron and galvanised steel bell frame for ten bells will be manufactured together with all new fittings for the bells. A new training bell will be manufactured and installed alongside the ring, and a new sound control system will be manufactured and installed
