Some clappers, crown staples, Hastings stay mechanisms, and rope roller boxes restored. New, larger wheel for 8th 2013 by John Taylor & Co Former 8th being replaced with new bell 2012 by John Taylor & Co (major overhaul) 8th retired and rehung dead on steel girders above ringing peal. Replacement 8th cast to replace it. Wheels for middle bells rejigged, 6th receiving former 7th wheel; 7th receiving former 8th wheel; 8th receiving former 9th wheel 2009 by John Taylor & Co (major overhaul) 9th rehung with new, larger wheel. Frame for extra treble moved further back towards the 2nd. Extra treble rehung on new wheel and packed out on its headstock 1944 by John Taylor & Co (major overhaul) Rehung on existing fittings 1941 by John Taylor & Co (major overhaul) Bells and fittings dismantled and stored in the church to prevent damage in the Blitz 1933 by John Taylor & Co (major overhaul) Rehung on ball bearings 1903 by John Taylor & Co (major overhaul) List all1-7, 9, 12 recast. Canons removed from 8, 10, 11 and retuned. Rehung in a new cast iron frame for 12 bells with all new fittings |
