Projects & overhauls
2024 by John Taylor & Co
Maintenance work. Bells lifted from their pits for the cleaning/replacement of their bearings. 7th bell headstock returned to Foundry for checking/replacement of gudgeons. Various sliders replaced with new and a new timber shafted clapper manufactured for the tenor bell. The single Ellacombe Hammer on the 4th bell restored and re-fitted.
